DIY Stitched Fabric Notecard – Image To Repin / Share

Instead of just buying greeting cards for your loved ones, why don’t you make a few of your own? This tutorial by How About Orange will teach you how to make a stitched fabric notecard! The instructions are pretty easy to follow. The link follows after our additional suggestions and ideas.
Once you get the hang of making these fabric notecards, you can use the techniques to create more DIY projects. Here are some suggestions:
1. Framed Fabric Notecards – Once you’re able to make these fabric notecards, you can cut them to size and have them framed. You can give this to your teacher for Teacher Appreciation Day. Try to print out a quote or a line that your teacher is famous for.
2. Notebook or Book Cover – You can also use this to make a pretty notebook or book cover. If it’s a notebook for school, try to print out an inspiring quote and if it’s a book, print out the title and the name of the author. Use unique font styles for this. Vintage-looking fabrics are also awesome for this project.
3. Personalized Gift Box – Get some of the boxes that you no longer use (for those who are subscribed to a Birchbox or Glossybox or any monthly beauty subscription box will really benefit from this DIY project). Paint the boxes with any pastel colored acrylic paint and let them dry. Stick your homemade notecard on top and continue on decorating the box with more embellishments. Fill the box with goodies and give it to someone special. The box can now be used as a room decor and you can keep sentimental items in it!
4. Party Place Cards – Instead of getting fancy place cards for your party, why don’t you make these lovely fabric notecards? These cards will add more character to your party decor. You could also create decor that is made out of recycled material.
5. If you know how to make a zippered pouch, try to stitch your fabric note card on the front of the bag.
